Pattern Packets.

My Pattern Packets offer you a line drawing pattern of the subject, a large color reference photo, as well as easy step-by-step instruction. A unique feature, I provide a photo illustration of each step. The directions are laid out in stages, so as you complete each project, you will also learn the procedures to create your own works of art. Each is enclosed in a clear plastic bag, and the materials list is clearly in view, so you can easily know what supplies you’ll need. Prices vary according to the subject; some patterns require more steps. Color Pencil and Acrylic are presently available, but I’ll soon be adding Oil and Watercolor projects.

Wouldn’t you rather be thinking of Spring? I created this project, “Monarch Butterfly” to explore helpful color pencil techniques that carry over to other wildlife projects. You will be introduced to the techniques using ink and color pencil together; how to create translucent wings; how to capture dramatic lighting to emphasize form; and a new soft focus background technique. This is an excellent seminar for beginners.  The paper is included in the packet with the background and pattern already applied.
