In this interesting project, you will learn new techniques that will include: the many colors reflected in white objects; temperature, both cool and warm; reflective surfaces; transparent glass; and metal. All done without heavy burnishing or layering. This project is designed for any student, beginner, intermediate or professional.

In this video, Mark will lead you through creating lush leaves, stunning raindrops, and of course, those flowers! You’ll learn how to use red background paper to intensify color, the importance of applying tones in order, feathering edges, and blending and glazing to create these bright pink beauties. You’ll learn how to use different greens to achieve depth and fullness, with just a touch of white for highlights. Plus, you’ll also learn Mark’s formula for creating water drops on both flowers and leaves. All with only 16 colored pencils!
